Something I don’t understand - why sell an item on eBay if you’re going to jack up the shipping price.

I was searching for a good deal on filters for my fish tank and came across this.  Sure, it’s a dollar cheaper than it is at the pet store, but the shipping price gets you! $11.29!  Crazy.
