Hello Kitty Keeps My Feet Warm

It’s been so cold lately, and it’s not very common around here. I have no sweaters and the only socks I have are for working out. If I could, I’d wear my Hello Kitty slippers everywhere, just because they’re warm, and of course…Hello Kitty! :)

Hello Kitty Slippers

So far, I’ve taken a picture everyday. That’s one of my fun goals this year, and I almost forgot!

Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great New Years Eve celebration, whatever you did! I had initially planned to do nothing and stay in, but decided to go where my parents and sister went and I was glad I went! It was surprisingly fun. We drove 71 miles (I kid you not) up north to a family friend’s house and celebrated New Years with some familiar and many unfamiliar faces. Glen and I brought Guitar Hero 3 and eventually a lot of the kids wanted in on it. There was also a Hula Dancer who was teaching everyone how to hula, and of course line dancing like the electric slide, cha cha slide and todo todo…typical Filipino stuff, lol. It was a typical Filipino party, but still fun. We left the party around 3am, and got home at 4am. That drive was really long, but luckily no crazy drivers on the road.

I thought about my resolutions this year, but I realized that goals are better since resolutions are usually not followed through. I wrote about my fitness goals for the month, and will continue to make monthly goals. After all, you’re more likely to follow through with goals when you start small and make attainable goals. Besides fitness goals, I also have goals to be more organized with money. Budgets are key!

The rest of the day was spent just spending the day with Glen. We had lunch at PF Changs and went to get 2008 calendars which were 50% off. The best time to get a calendar is definitely after New Years since they reduce the price! :) Afterwards, uploaded pictures and did some work online for my blog. Now I’m about to call it a night!

Check out the pictures from New Years Eve here.

A Nice Christmas

So what did I get this Christmas? Hello Kitty stuff - alarm clock, bag, and plush, Starbucks Gift Cards, Whole Foods Gift Card, Apple Gift Card, Green Tea Tins (3 different flavors), Foot Pampering Stuff, snowglobe, a Back Scratcher (I so needed one!) and Guitar Hero for the Wii!

We pretty much played Guitar Hero most of Christmas Eve and even today. I even tried the medium level and was able to clear 2 songs! LOL. I’m getting better! :) It’s such an addicting game, seriously!

Some pictures of Christmas Eve at home…

My overall Christmas was great, but it went by soooo quick! Back to work tomorrow, and then there’s New Years! Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday!

Old Online Journals

Before the internet, I wrote in a diary.  A real one.  I really did!  I had this Keroppi journal that looked like it was made with recycled paper.  My handwriting was pretty neat too.  I don’t know how I was able to write so neat throughout the whole book!  Surprisingly, I still have them somewhere in the abyss of my closet.  In 2002, I started using Xanga as a journal, then Livejournal.  I had Blogspirit for a little bit, and after going back and forth, I use Sueyboo.com as a blog, which you see now.  As you can tell, I really couldn’t make up my mind with where I wanted my blog.  I even have a Vox that I started venting to.

I don’t know how, but I started reading all my Livejournal entries from 2003-2005.  It’s so weird how much I wrote in that thing.  It’s funny reading some of the entries because I was so immature and retarded then.  Most of the entries talk about my life living in Jersey and although there are times I don’t like thinking about some of those memories, it’s interesting to read.  I honestly have grown up a lot really fast in the past 3 years and I’m glad that I have something to remember, it puts a lot in perspective.  :)

Randomz..

I’ve been sick for the past 5 days. It started out with a sore throat but luckily it didn’t get full blown. I’ve dealt with a slight stomachache and headache and today it turned into a cough. Hopefully I’ll be better soon. I hate to say this, but I think I got sick because I was touching the iPhones at the Apple store. I’m an idiot for not realizing that tons of hands probably have touched that iPhone with their germies. Blah.  But I still want an iPhone…hehe.

Anyways, Christmas is coming and I still need to get some gifts!

If you’re interested about internet marketing, check out the latest podcast by Ten Golden Rules, I actually talk about Squidoo (lol I hate listening to my voice, it’s so weird) and my boss, Jay interviews Matt Cutts at Pubcon. Cool stuff!
