Okay, I’ll admit it. I WANT an iPhone. I’m a Mac user and it’s probably weird to know that my cellphone is on Windows Mobile, thus I cannot sync my phone to my Mac. I didn’t really think of this when I bought the phone, so I’m kicking myself because of it. I had AT&T but switch to T-Mobile because 1) Cingular sucks but now they’re AT&T. 2) I seemed to be paying more with Cingular. T-Mobile’s service in my area is alright for the most part, and I don’t pay a lot because my sister and I are on a family plan.

Now what sucks is that with the whole unlocking iPhone thing and becoming a useless brick once their update becomes available, I know if I were to get one I’d probably brick the thing. So I’m stuck. I could either - go back to AT&T and pay a shiotload for a phone that I’ll only use for its Mac-ness or get an iPhone, unlock it and hopefully not accidentally brick it. Ugh.

Apple, I hate you, but I can’t. You make such good electronics, darnit!

For now, I’m just following the MacRumors forum and hope that those hackers will find a way around it.

After the iPod touch came out I was really excited about it and I even went to the Apple store to try to get my hands on one. The Apple store was packed btw, and I couldn’t even find a floor model! Since it looks really similar to the iPhone we (Glen & I) figured that was why there weren’t floor models. I then asked an employee and he said there wouldn’t be any in the store until a month from now but you could order from the Apple website. I came to the conclusion that it would be worth it to just get the iPhone over the ipod touch since it’s the same price, and if I was out and someone saw me with the ipod touch, they would think I was a iPhone user and I would frown and say no…it’s just the ipod touch, followed by the person being disappointed. LOL.

THEN, I stumbled upon this Gizmodo post about this software called iphoneSimFree that unlocks the iPhone so you can use it on any network (with a sim i suppose) and there was even a video taking you through the entire process to unlock it. They used a T-Mobile SIM and it indeed worked! Whoa cool! The downside is that the software is $100 which is pretty expensive for a unlock. In a way, it’s like you’re paying an extra hundred after they dropped the price of the iPhone itself. Yeesh. And with my luck, there would be a way to get it cheaper or even free. Wait wait wait is all I can do… If you’re creative and have an iPhone that you want to unlock, go to the Gizmodo website and tell them who would you call (from any time or space) and what you would say…

Last night was the MTV VMA’s and everyone was all hyped up about Britney Spears’ comeback performance. Heck, I was even excited, maybe she would redeem herself after all the bad press. The performance was pretty sad, and definitely hyped up waay too much. I know I wasn’t the only one wondering where the heck Criss Angel or anything remotely Criss Angel magical during the performance. I kind of feel bad for her, but at the same time, she should have maybe, practiced more?

Sarah Silverman had balls making fun of her like she did! And the VMAs sucked. I ended up just watching old home videos that were more entertaining!

So for most of the day I’ve been trying to figure the kinks of this new host.  It really is tough to find a good webhost that will help you out in a timely manner.  I found out that it’s really hard to find a host like that.  But since you get what you pay for, I’ll be more patient.  Thank goodness what I tried to fix is working now! *whew!

I think that for now my blog theme will stay simple because I’m still learning photoshop and css.  Design is so cool!!  I’ve been checking out css design galleries like this and this and I can’t help but to be inspired.
