Every since I went to the Sanrio store in Orlando I’ve been Hello Kitty crazed. I was bored, Glen was taking a test and I went to the malls - Orlando has great shopping! The thing is, ONLY Hello Kitty. When I was younger, like probably in my middle school days, I was into all things Sanrio and would beg my mom to drive me to New Generation (this store in NJ) so I could get some Sanrio stuff. Now that I think of it, my mom really loved me! She let me buy all sorts of Sanrio stuff.
Anyway, since I was bored, and I wanted to sort of re-live my childhood, I went into the Sanrio store not expecting to leave with anything. I remember seeing Badtz Maru, Keroppi and Little Twin Stars stuff… what ever happened to Pekkle and Monkichi? I didn’t even see those there. And now there are new characters like Cinnamorroll and Tenorikuma. I don’t know if it’s just me, but these names seem more complicated! LOL. I went to the Sanrio site and there’s this crazy line of bling bling Hello Kitty stuff by Kimora Lee Simmons. Even if it wasn’t so expensive I still wouldn’t support that bratty woman. Geez, Hello Kitty isn’t supposed to be that expensive, I think!
See how much this bag is… $20! I think I might get this one. Reminds me of those Tokidoki bags but Hello Kitty!
Target has Hello Kitty stuff too! I went to the dollar section and scored a bunch of Hello Kitty things for $1. Woo! haha.
Okay, if you haven’t heard about Twitter yet, you should get up on it! If you’re a internet geek head like me, then you’ll find this cool too. Twitter is pretty much a cross between an IM away message and chatting, but not in real time. It’s basically microblogging, which is less than 2 sentences about what you’re doing, how you’re feeling, what’s cool and what’s not…pretty much anything. I have some people added to it that are mostly internet friends and some site twitters, even my boss is on twitter! (lol) I’ve only added a couple of complete strangers to my Twitter list and had some people add me to theirs and it’s cool! So if you’re not on it, you should be. You can Twitter via the site, text message, im and through a bunch of different apps on Mac and Windows platforms, and even web based.
Join the Twitter revolution today and add me!

A while back I was pretty bored with the music I had and wanted to listen to something different. I dunno how but I stumbled upon Bhangra music and I love it! I found this podcast site that plays Bollywood and Bhangra music called DesiHits. The Bhangra podcast is hosted by this popular DJ in England named Jags Klimax and he has two songs that are totally wicked. Seriously, even though I have no idea what they’re saying it’s still hot!
I’m definitely going to get his album when it comes out!
Check out the two videos; below is Habibi and the other one is Heer
Ever since I’ve turned 25 I’ve become more aware of keeping track of things, whether it be the exercising I do, or the money I spend. Seriously, the money thing is the most important thing for me to keep track of, because I have bills to pay, and I need to stop buying crap I don’t really need. So far, I haven’t used any credit cards, except my VS card but I spent about $40 and I can pay that bill off in its entirety anyway. I’m really proud of the fact that I haven’t touched any of my CCs and therefore am determined to get out of credit card debt. Seriously, it sucks. And I have a lot, which accumulated throughout college and lesson learned: never spend more than you can afford on credit cards. Bottom line.
With that said, I definitely have to go back to the time where I wasn’t old enough to own a credit card and only buy things that I can afford, and if I can’t afford it, I actually have to save money to get it. I decided to get help with that and signed up with Wesabe to help me budget and keep track of my spending and so far, it’s pretty nifty. I also signed up for Mvelopes but you actually have to pay after you use up the 30 day trial. I’m going to wait it out and try out Wesabe and after a week if I don’t like it, I’ll try out Mvelopes. But I know that I’m in the right direction with doing this because making an excel sheet and my bad math skills won’t help me in the long run.
As far as organizing, I am testing out online tools trying to find the best one. I signed up for Backpack and hopefully this will be promising. Backpack is also free (I love free, hehe.) and you can organize by making individual pages for each task you want to start. After checking their examples I was pretty much sold and signed up.
I think organizing things will be fun, I’ll be able to find stuff easier and it’ll help me in the long run with me getting out of credit card debt. I’m excited.
