A while back I was pretty bored with the music I had and wanted to listen to something different. I dunno how but I stumbled upon Bhangra music and I love it! I found this podcast site that plays Bollywood and Bhangra music called DesiHits. The Bhangra podcast is hosted by this popular DJ in England named Jags Klimax and he has two songs that are totally wicked. Seriously, even though I have no idea what they’re saying it’s still hot!

I’m definitely going to get his album when it comes out!

Today my love turns another year older. I got him an iPod (80GB) for his birthday, and made him cupcakes. Nothing too extravagant this year, since we’re both poor… but it’s okay, just as long as we have each other. Aww.

I’m so happy that I get to spend another birthday with him, and I know that lately has been really hard for me and I’ve been cranky, but through all that he’s there for me, loving me no differently.

I’ve never been to St. Augustine, FL, but I found out it’s way north from where I live. I’ve always been interested in visiting different areas of Florida because it’s such a huge state and there are so many places to see. I love the beach, so any area in Florida by the beach is definitely someplace that I would be interested in. I also enjoy events that are held that are filled with fun, food and entertainment. St. Augustine holds this event every end of the month called Uptown Saturday Night. This event gives people the opportunity to check out the antiques that fill the town as well as entertainment that definitely will leave you remembering. If you enjoy St. Augustine shopping, you’ll have a great time. If you enjoy book readings, this event also holds them as well as meeting the authors. If you like art, then you’ll enjoy the art exhibits that are showcased at this event. Uptown Saturday Night takes place from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm the last Saturday in October and November. The Mission of Nombre de Dios provides FREE PARKING, so you can pretty much attend this event and browse through everything without spending money. If the art, music, books or food at the event move you so much, you’ll end up spending some cash, but it will be worth it.

The next Uptown Saturday Night dates are October 27th and November 24th.

If you’re a 24 fan and haven’t seen the trailer for the upcoming season, then look no further… the trailer premiered today and it was a big deal - Fox held a big event in Times Square and showed the trailer on the big screen there. Some things surprised me: No more CTU? How is this season going to be like? Can they top it this season? I wasn’t too excited about Season 6 so I hope that Season 7 will be better this time around.

I remember when my family was packing up to move from NJ to FL, a huge move, I should say. I couldn’t believe that we were moving all the way down here in the first place, but in a way it was a great way to get rid of some stuff that I’ve had for a long time. It was also a great opportunity for my parents to throw away things that had been collecting dust in the garage. It’s pretty tough to just throw away things you’ve accumulated over the years, but for our move, it had to be done. When we moved into our new house in FL, we were lucky enough to be able to fit everything that belonged in the garage, but eventually my parents wanted it even more organized. Having a garage storage system in place was the best way to be able to find things that are only needed every now and then. My dad’s tools are in a specific area, and my mom’s cookware is in another area, as well as books that I have stored there. So all in all, having an organized garage will prevent headache in finding what you need later.
