Last night was the MTV VMA’s and everyone was all hyped up about Britney Spears’ comeback performance. Heck, I was even excited, maybe she would redeem herself after all the bad press. The performance was pretty sad, and definitely hyped up waay too much. I know I wasn’t the only one wondering where the heck Criss Angel or anything remotely Criss Angel magical during the performance. I kind of feel bad for her, but at the same time, she should have maybe, practiced more?

Sarah Silverman had balls making fun of her like she did! And the VMAs sucked. I ended up just watching old home videos that were more entertaining!

I absolutely love to sing. That’s something to know about me if you didn’t. When I was little, my dad used to make me sing Debbie Gibson and Madonna karaoke in front of his friends. When I was in high school, I had a singing part in the Spring Concert. In college I met some friends that I used to jam with. Now, I sing in front of the computer with the music on.

Recently I’ve been finding people on YouTube who just put videos of them singing and then getting discovered. Genius idea I think.. People like Esmee Denters and Marie Digby especially. Both of their voices are pretty good, but I think my voice is just as good - not to be like bragging or anything. Sometimes I don’t get why some people get record deals and their voices are just eh, or blah. I guess I’m saying I want to start doing something similar and make videos but I can’t really play guitar. So I gotta find an accompanist. And maybe eventually I’ll learn.

Hopefully this weekend I can at least make one video of me singing, but for now here’s a video of me singing a Michelle Branch cover with my buddies Edward & Allan. This video was made ages ago! Yeah, I know I didn’t really know the lyrics! But it’s decent. What do you think?

Apple enthusiasts probably already know about this, but I’m putting it out there on my blog because I want this! It looks like the Apple iPhone but it’s just the mp3 player and its wifi enabled so you can go online with it. Totally cool. I’m not really into the iPhone because its on the AT&T network and I’m a T-Mobile gal… so until they bring it over there I’m good with the iPod touch.

There are also new ipod nanos and the ipod classic out as well. I <3 Apple stuff!!!
